Connecting You to Conservation: Wildlife Prints with a Purpose
As a wildlife photographer from Sri Lanka, my work is deeply connected to the island’s diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Through my photography, I aim not only to capture the beauty of nature but also to raise awareness about the pressing challenges our wildlife faces and the urgent need for action. Each image is a testament to the fragility of our ecosystems and the importance of preserving them for future generations.

I believe that it’s our collective responsibility to protect these natural treasures. By purchasing a print, you’re not only bringing the majesty of nature into your home but also directly supporting efforts to restore Sri Lanka’s vital ecosystem. Your support helps fund crucial conservation initiatives, contributing to the protection of endangered species and their habitats.

Together, we can make a difference—one print at a time.
Current Wildlife Issues in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, from the majestic elephants to the elusive leopards, and countless endemic species. However, our wildlife faces numerous threats. Some of the key challenges include:

-
Human-Wildlife Conflict: As human settlements expand into forested regions, wildlife is increasingly coming into conflict with people, particularly elephants and leopards. This leads to dangerous situations for both wildlife and communities.
-
Habitat Destruction: Deforestation and land-use changes are rapidly eroding the natural habitats of many species, pushing them closer to extinction.
-
Poaching and Illegal Wildlife Trade: Elephants and other species continue to be targeted by poachers, and the illegal wildlife trade remains a significant issue.
-
Climate Change: Changing weather patterns and environmental disruptions are affecting many of Sri Lanka's species, altering their natural behaviors and habitats.

These issues are not only a threat to our wildlife but also to the delicate ecosystems that sustain life on our island. Immediate action is needed to protect these species and their habitats.
A Step Toward Action: Supporting Conservation Initiatives
While I may not be directly involved in a comprehensive conservation program at this time, I’m committed to supporting wildlife protection efforts through my work. I am actively exploring ways to partner with conservation organizations and contribute to the cause in meaningful ways.
Supporting Conservation with Every Purchase
As part of my ongoing commitment to wildlife conservation, I am proud to donate 10% of my profits to wildlife conservation initiatives in Sri Lanka. By purchasing a print, you are not only bringing beautiful wildlife art into your home or office but also helping to protect the very species I capture in my photographs. Your support allows me to continue working towards a future where wildlife and humans can coexist peacefully.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting wildlife conservation through your purchase.
